Google SketchUp

After its move to revive the old city of Rome, Google has released a new version of its 3D modelling application. Google SketchUp allows you to create, modify, and share 3D models. Google SketchUp is, you can say, a free alternative version of 3D Studio Max. Although, however, don’t expect SketchUp to beat 3D Studio Max yet with that “price” :)

3D modelling and designing are not my cup of tea, unfortunately (Yes, I’ve tried). As much as it’s fun to see 3D models in action, it’s not as fun to create them.

To find out what’s new click on the link above. If you want the video version on YouTube about the SketchUp release, click this one.

King Uploader Logo

King Uploader allows you to upload your files on their online storage and then you can share the download link. Nothing new, right? Tons of these sites already. King Uploader, however, allows you to put your own 160×600 Google Adsense banner on the file’s download page.

Left 4 DeadLeft 4 Dead is a first person shooter game for PC and XBOX360, created by the developers who made Counter Strike:Condition Zero and Counter Strike:Source (the most popular first person multi player shooter ever).

In Left 4 Dead, you can play as the good guys, shooting zombies, OR the Zombies themselves and be mad eating brains. (Correction: sorry, no brains are actually being eaten in the game) You either play as one of the Survivors or the Infected.

Left for Dead

If you are into Zombie killings game, don’t miss out the demo that has just been released from Valve through Steam.

Go to Left 4 Dead official page for more details about the game and to download the demo.

Apple has launched its next generation of iPod Nano (the 4th Generation), also known by people as the iPod Nano Chromatic. It comes with 9 different varieties of colours to suit everyone’s taste. Now there is no more reason not to get an iPod! iPod Nano Chromatic comes with 2 different sizes: 8 GB and 16 GB. Apple released the 4 GB version too but it seemed that they have stopped producing them. However, if you are lucky, you can still get the 4 GB version on some shops (assuming you don’t need the space).
