Check how your site looks in multiple browsers easily
I’m currently migrating my church’s website from Postnuke to Joomla. It was a horrible and terrible process. Migrating means redesigning the site with different themes, layouts, and sections.
After days of hard work, I then found out that it looks so bad on Internet Explorer 6! Thanks to the site called IENet Renderer, to help me pointing it out.
IENet Renderer gives you an option to select different Internet Explorer versions (from 5.5 to 8 Beta 1) and once you’ve entered your URL, it will provide a screenshot of your site under the version you selected.
For example, my new church’s site is supposed to look like:

However, in IE6, it looks like a pile of crap

I may need to make further adjustments to the design, as I noticed that there were still a few hundred visitors last month, using IE 6!

You can also go to https://browsershots.org/ if you want to check how your website looks in different browsers (not just on Internet Explorer) and tweak it accordingly.
Just wondering how many are you still using Internet Explorer 6.0 and why won’t you upgrade?

Same here do not have much care for IE6
I don’t use BrowserShot as often as IENetRenderer for the very reason that it takes ages for it to show the results. Unlike, the latter which will render it almost quiet instantly.
Since I’m in the Mac environment, I depends on it largely for my design work. If only IE is as good as Firefox or Safari for that matter.. It really sucks..

Damn.. I see that my site is looking very weird on IE6! So I went and checked on Google Analytics how many people who visited my site use IE6 and I found out that there are 114 visitors how still use IE6. So I think I’m going to call in for some CSS help to get that problem solved!

Yeah It’s kinda frustrating everytime you design a site, as every browser gives you different results
If there is one thing I learn early in the design process is to always reset your CSS before you attempt to tweak anything. That should normally help to solve some, if not all, browser inconsistency.
