Congratulations for your new president, guys

I honestly am not following politics and stuffs, but to my U.S readers, congratulations for having a new president, Barak Obama.
I haven’t been following what he’s promising and stuffs (politicians lie anyways lol), but I pray that he leads United States to the fullest and to the best interest to the world.

Thanks. Hopefully this gives the US a little more credibility in the rest of the world. That is the #1 reason why I am glad he was elected and not McCain. Honestly though, I didn’t like either one. Both parties are generally the same and the dems completely went against everything they promised in ‘06 so I’m sure this won’t be any different.
Well yeah, I guess all politicians are the same and I’m not saying that I know how to run the country better than them.
It may or may not change America. I honestly don’t notice much difference when a new president is elected in my home country (except when a new radical law gets changed or added)
You know you are totally right. The most future presidents promise to his people a lot but once they get the power all their promises will never come true as usual.
Well I guess they either lied their way to be a president, or they’ve found out that things are not as easy as it seems
I suppose what goes on in the US affects and impacts the whole world, so that everyone is interested in who will lead the country for the next few years.
Yeah. I don’t know much about economy, business, and politics, but I can see (& feel) that the global crisis in U.S is affecting the whole world, including Australia (where I live)
Obama is great, congratulations to the guys in US, although maybe they love Sarah Palin better.

I am captivated by a story which I already forgot the source, about a father who told his son right after Obama wins, “the world is a better place now than it was before”
Well, how do you know that the world is going to be a better place with him?
