My rig:

x1 3.0Ghz Pentium 4 with hyper threading
8600GT 256MB DDR3 RAM
2.5GB DDR2 RAM 533Mhz

Can I play Assasins Creed at medium settings? O_O

Also, I heard that the combat system is strictly one on one only, is this true?

So many good games are coming out now.. Rainbow Six Vegas 2 too..argh..need more than 24 hours a day..

Deimos: Medium settings should be achievable with yours. It’s not too heavy. It doesn’t even have an anti aliasing option :| but you’ll get used to the jaggies after playing it for a while.

Hm well you can be surrounded by guards but you can only lock to 1 foe at a time. If a guard behind you attacks while you are locked to a different target, you can always do the counter-attack move and the game will handle it nicely.

So one on one ..yes in a way, as you don’t have a move that can attack multiple foes at the same time.

I’ve seen some game play and explaination vids on this game. The graphic is splendid. Oh by the way, in Metal Gear Solid 4, Snake got the chance to be in the Assassin Creed costume. Looks funny but cool. :P

Don’t talk about Metal Gear Solid 4 :( It makes me want to buy a PS3..but seriously I love all Metal Gear Solids, especially the last one. They should have made it into a movie..err nah on second thought, that’ll ruin it

I’m holding off on this game for a while, I played it a few times on my friends ps3 but it doesn’t really do it for me. I might wait a few months till it comes down in price and then get it

Should have read your review before I got this game for my Xbox 360. After a few missions, it really does feel kind of repetative.

Save citizens (and get vigilants or scholars), climb to high spots, evesdropping before swopping in for the finale kill… argh, enough already.

Am so desperate that I started whacking every guard I see. Ok, subtelty is one of my virtue. :)

Yeah, it’s kinda repetitive but you don’t really have to do it though (although since I’m a perfectionist, I usually do them anyways, no matter how boring it may get)

Well at least the combat is satisfying, so helping the not-so-poor citizes is kinda fun after all :)

It’s a very good game. i love the graphics and the setting of the game. I’m a very picky person to play RPG games and I rate this above all my favourite game that came out! XD

It’s good you like it, Kinaki. I honestly don’t really like the game (due to the repetitive side quest and too many philosophy talks lol)

I’m currently playing Mass Effect, now, THAT should be your most favorite RPG games of the year!! (Assassins Creed is not an RPG by the way hehe)

I honestly do like it, mainly reasoning the lost history of several men that mysteriously disappeared during the First Crusade but I also like the action and stuff. I’m more of a action, (well something along the lines) person. I hope you know what i mean but still…doesn’t matter if it’s a RPG or not. I like games that have several other little missions along with the main. That’s all i have to say…bu thanks ^_^

Ah.. yeah if you see it that way (the action, the medieval settings, the environment, etc), I’m with you!

Have fun playing then :) I ended that game some weeks ago
