Product Description Black Dimple Finish High Power Green Laser. We ensure that every high power green laser pointer is hand calibrated and tested to output at least 20mw and thus offers the expected stunning power expected of a real constant wave green (532nm) laser pointer, much brighter to look at than a regular red laser pointer and always with a visible green beam. This high power green laser pointer will impress your coworkers, family and friends. Use it for your next presentation and everybody will know that you are ahead of the latest technology. Body material: Brass, Body color: Matte Black

Surprisingly good August 16, 2010 Andrew G 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I was afraid of purchasing a pointer from amazon based on the reviews for all the other models I had come across. I decided to take a risk on this one, as it was cheap and had no one-star reviews, and I have not been let down.
The pointer is powerful - it reaches far, has a strong point on it, and if it's dark enough you can even see the beam. It goes through batteries sort of quickly, but that is reasonable considering how cool it is to mess around with.
The build quality is solid - it feels heavy in your hand, and although I am pretty hard on my stuff it is still working as well today as it was when I bought it over a month ago.
Excellent for the price (<$15 with shipping!) November 7, 2009 L.J. Stars It really is what they advertised -- I didn't think it could be, for that price. Currently, a really good price on a green laser pointer for astronomy is about $40, and this was about a third of that price. It is probably a low end laser pointer (and came in a cardboard box instead of the usual fancier box, with battieries that were too weak to work properly). The button to turn it on works fine (it may be a little loose -- I can hear it rattle when I jiggle the laser pointer -- but I bought this to replace a $50 laser pointer that failed because the button stopped working). I have only tried it one night, but once I put in new batteries the beam was easy to see in the night air in a fairly dark location.
Works well December 30, 2009 Ted L. Desanti I purchased this laser so that I could point out planets and stars to my daughter. For this amatuer purpose it works fine.
well good December 31, 2009 Keith Lloyd it is underpowered on the ad it is really a 30mw laser but they sent a 20mw i wonder what it really is lol it goes a rough estimate 2000 metres overall a well good laser round beam
WOW! March 9, 2010 CJ (HOUSTON, TX) Great bang-for-buck, got the lazer pointer quickly in the mail, the thing has an awesome beam. Well worth $15. Forget the picky reviews, it's well worth buying.
They even tossed in a free keychain LED light.
