I'm so glad to have found this charging station, especially since it was mis-categorized under "Sports" on Amazon as of the time of this review. I was looking for an inexpensive one on Amazon for quite some time that was the right size and style, but many of the other ones between $19 and $45 had bad reviews regarding the quality of construction and damage done due to poor packaging.
This station (ordered two of them) arrived in perfect condition. The product packaging is great because it is wrapped in plastic and is protected on both sides by high-density foam.
The construction is solid, and the "velvet" padding was cut-to-size and glued down perfectly... you won't always see that with products at this price point. Even the drawer is padded. In addition, the hinges on the lid are screwed in just fine and open smoothly. I mention this because people often complain about problems with the hinges on other inexpensive charging stations. Also, the handle on the drawer is nice and securely fasted.
The only small complaint I have is with the included power strip. Just like most other strips, it may be a problem if one or two of your devices come with large adapters. The adapters should fit fine inside the concealed compartment, it's just the positioning of the outlets in the strip that could be a problem. Hey, at least this charging station comes with a strip included! A lot of other stations don't. As a work-around, if you need to, I suggest purchasing a power strip liberator like this, this, or this.

If you're looking for an inexpensive yet solid and good-looking charging station, I highly recommend this one.

This charging station looks nice (even my wife is happy with it and she's hard to please), provides a nice surface to place your phones when not in use (even if not charging), and does a great job of organizing and hiding the charging cords for your phones. I also liked that this puppy comes preassembled: Open the package and start putting phones on it.
If you're planning to plug in a bunch of separate wall warts into the power strip that comes with this station, I'm afraid you're going to have a hard time fitting them all. But if most of your devices charge with USB cables--you know, the ones that plug into your computer (which is the way things are going now)--then may I suggest something like this product: Lenmar ACUSB4 AC Travel Adapter for up to 4 USB Powered Devices (Black) With it, you can plug up to four USB charging cables into one wall wart instead of separate ones. It'll save you a lot of space and probably cut down on "vampire" power consumption. I bought both this and that and am very happy with my results.
I agree with another reviewer that there's a strong industrial chemical smell when you first open the box it comes in, but this smell quickly dissipates and I don't smell anything anymore. In fact once I put it to use I didn't notice any smell at all; literally within hours it was gone.

Great piece and best price out there! The only drawback for me was the depth, or lack there of, of each of the 4 pockets (for the iPod, phone, etc.) Fine for a chargeable piece, but not so much for placing other items in (I don't have 4 different pieces to charge). Other than that, it's great and the fact that it comes with a power strip is even better (power strip fits directly underneath the 4 pieces, so the drawer is only 1/2 the length of the whole unit). Worth the money and not too cheap looking! I'd buy it again and definitely recommend it.

I bought this for my husband for Father's Day and he loved it. The only issue I can find with this product is the available space in the compartment for the cords. He has three phones with 3 different size chargers and it can be a bit awkward to fit all of it in that small space. We ended up putting the strip outlet sideways just so it would shut. However, overall for the price and the product (sturdy wood, nice drawer, power outlet cord provided) I would totally recommend this product!
